UEware™ Multimode Digital Baseband IP for HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE
UEware is a mature, comprehensive multimode baseband solution designed to support UMTS voice and data, GSM voice, E/GPRS multi-slot, Dual Transfer Mode (DTM), DARP (SAIC) and HSDPA. It combines low resource consumption, flexible operation and outstanding receiver performance.
The product is delivered with a complementaly handset reference design platform.
UEware-based chipsets support ubiquitous, seamless communication across 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G networks, addressing the emerging global trends towards multimode connectivity and enabling service continuity and delivery of various 3G services to the handset.
UEware is specifically designed to provide chipset vendors a proven baseband solution for multimode HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM connectivity. Its multimode Layer1 RAT Manager and flexible design enables easy integration with any customer's UMTS platform and protocol stack. Scalable architecture and standard interfaces ensure smooth integration to attain shortest time-to-market.
Designed from the ground up as a multimode solution, UEware's physical layer design is optimized for multimode handoff, significant resource savings (size, cost, power consumption and memory) and exceptionally high performance (up to 8dB above the 3GPP standard).
