Overview
ComMAX CM1125 is a full Mobile WiMAX/Cellular baseband processor integrating GSM/EDGE cellular with Mobile WiMAX, providing mobile device manufacturers with significant size, power and cost savings.
The CM1125 provides the communication features essential for mobile Internet devices such as feature-phones, smart-phones, PDAs and other wireless consumer electronic devices.
In addition to implementing the complete Mobile WiMAX PHY and MAC layers in accordance with the WiMAX Forum wave 2 profiles, ComMAX includes a complete GSM/EDGE implementation as well as a multi-standard aware protocol stack.
The CM1125 is complemented by a reference design platform with a suite of debugging tools and an extensive documentation set, streamlining customization and enabling accelerated time-to-market.
