Elkana Ben-Sinai
CEO
Mr. Ben-Sinai, Comsys' CEO, has served as the acting CEO, COO and VP Marketing and Sales at Novanet Semiconductors, leading it through its acquisition by the Mindspeed Technologies division of Conexant Systems (Nasdaq: CNXT) in September 2000 for $150 million. Following the acquisition, Mr. Ben-Sinai managed Mindspeed's R&D, marketing and administrative activities in Ra'anana, Israel. Prior to that he held product marketing and engineering positions at Orckit Communications (Nasdaq: ORCT) and Motorola Semiconductor Israel. Mr. Ben-Sinai holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

 

Ophir Shabtay
CTO

Mr. Shabtay, CTO, joined Comsys in 1997. Since then, he served as Vice President of R&D and Director of DSP & HW. Managing R&D, Mr. Shabtay was responsible for product development, research, validation and support. Previously, Mr. Shabtay served for seven years at National Semiconductors (NYSE: NSM), where he was involved in system architecture, hardware design, silicon testing and algorithms development. Mr. Shabtay holds four world-wide patents. In addition, he holds an MBA from Haifa University, and B.Sc.degrees in Electronic Engineering and in Physics, both from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

 

Iftah Ries
CFO

Mr. Ries joined Comsys in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing financial commitments and strategic development. Mr. Ries has an extensive experience in the field of financing. During the past 10 years he has served as Chief Financial Officer at AMT Ltd. Prior to joining AMT, Iftah Ries worked as an accountant at Almagor & Co., one of the largest public accountants companies in Israel.
Mr. Ries holds a degree in Accounting and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv University with an MBA degree in Technology Management.

 

  Ronny Gorlicki
Executive VP Sales

Mr. Gorlicki joined Comsys in 2001 and is responsible for driving the world wide Sales activity at Comsys. Mr. Gorlicki brings to Comsys over 25 years of experience, holding senior positions as President of Wizcom Technologies Asia, VP of Worldwide Marketing and Sales at Wizcom, VP of Marketing and Sales at CommTouch, and Director of Business Development at National Semiconductors.

 

  Oz Micka
Vice President, R&D

Mr. Micka joined Comsys in 2005. From 1997 to 2005, Mr. Micka was with Metalink Broadband (Nasdaq: MTLK), where he held various positions, serving as Vice President of Engineering, Wireless Products is the most recent one. Prior to that he was a member of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Tel-Aviv University, and served as a Project Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. Mr. Micka holds a B.Sc.E.E and an M.Sc.E.E both Cum Laude from Tel-Aviv University.

 

  Yehuda Adelman
Vice President, VLSI

Mr. Adelman joined Comsys in 2006 and is responsible for the VLSI activity in the company. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Adelman was with Analog Devices (NYSE: ADI), where he was the Project Manager of the TigerSHARC DSP. Prior to that he worked for Motorola Semiconductor and was a key member of the management teams of the StarCore and 56600 families of DSP's. Mr. Adelman holds a B.Sc.E.E, Cum Laude from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

 

 

  Dr. Ilan Reuven
Chief Scientist

Dr. Reuven joined Comsys in 2005. From 1995 to 2000 he was with Orckit Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: ORCT). From 2000 to 2005 he served as the Chief Scientist of Tioga Technologies, a spin-off of Orckit's Semiconductors which was acquired by ST Microelectronics (NYSE: STM) in 2002. In addition, from 1999 to 2004 he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering – Systems, Tel Aviv University. Dr. Reuven holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering both summa cum laude from Tel Aviv University and a Ph.D. degree (with distinction) in Electrical Engineering also from Tel Aviv University.
